Sealed proposals for a single General Contract shall be received by the Board ofCounty Commissioners ofMarion County, Ohio to provide all required labor and materials for the following project: New Bloomington Village Concrete Project. The scope ofwork includes removing and replacing approximately 800 LF of 4-foot-wide sidewalks along N. Main St. (Agosta-Northem Road ) and near the community park on North St. in the village ofNew Bloomington, OH located in western Marion County, OH. Project Cost Estimate: $31,000 prospective bidders should confirm this time, date and location with the Commissioners' Office before the scheduled meeting time. Additional inspection times and dates may be scheduled with the Commissioners' Office. Each proposal shall be submitted on the form(s) provided and in accordance with the instructions supplied and shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty, as required by Section 153.54 ofthe Revised Code ofOhio. Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for the total amount ofthe base bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or acceptable letter of credit on a solvent bank in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent ofthe total amount ofthe bid, payable to the Board ofCounty Commissioners ofMarion County, Ohio. Ifa bidder fails or refuses to enter into a contract within ten (days) following notice of acceptance ofthis proposal, the bidder shall pay the penal sum in accordance with RC 153.54. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the date ofthe receipt ofbids.
