The Buffalo Public Schools is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to provide mold remediation services for approximately 70 district schools and facilities. The proposed work would be based on the plan provided by the certified Mold Assessor for each project. Remediation may include removal of mold and mold contaminated surfaces by selective demolition, cleaning, and/or treatment. Questions Due Date: May 1st 2023, 4:00 PM EDT Questions regarding this offering must be submitted via the online offering portal Mold Remediation Firm must be completely independent of all mold assessors involved with each of the individual mold remediation projects. o Emergency Work will be required on an as needed basis. Contracting Firm must make provisions to receive emergency calls 24 hours/7 days a week. Firm must respond to BPS's initial request for service within one hour of verbal notification for any emergency project and must be capable of having a response team on-site and ready to proceed with the work within two hours of the incident. Response to planned projects will be based on availability of the firm. o The majority of the work will be performed Monday-Friday after 4:00pm and on weekends, when the building is unoccupied.
