This Request for Statement of Qualifications (RSOQ) is an invitation by Lee's Summit Parks and Recreation for interested firms to submit qualifications, which may be subject to subsequent discussions and negotiations. It is not a request for a competitive bid. Submittal of qualifications does not create any right in or expectation to an agreement with LSPR. LSPR reserves the right to reject any and all RSOQ submittals, to waive technical defects, and to select the submittal(s) deemed most advantageous to LSPR. This is a two-step process. Proposers should plan on registering no later than 36 hours (M-F) prior to RSOQ closing. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Statement of Qualifications, to waive technical defects and to select the Statement of Qualifications(s) deemed most advantageous to the City. All addendums must be signed and included with Statement of Qualifications. For any service agreement greater than $5,000, the successful proposer shall comply with 285.530, RSMo, as amended, and (1) provide by sworn affidavit affirmation that it does not knowingly employ any person who is an unauthorized alien and (2) provide documentation affirming its enrollment and participation in a federal work authorization program with respect to the employees working in connection with this agreement. The required documentation affirming enrollment must be from the federal work authorization program provider. Letter from respondent reciting compliance is not sufficient. All Statement of Qualifications should include the signed and notarized Work Authorization Affidavit and the electronic signature page from the E-Verify program.
