The replacement of the current irrigation well located at Mission Hills Golf Course, 175 Industrial Parkway, Hayward, CA 94544. From 1998 until 2021, pumped groundwater from the well was diverted to an onsite storage pond and used for irrigation. In 2021 the current well failed and is now beyond its serviceable life. Currently water is supplied to the storage pond from a nearby metered fire hydrant and there is no connection to city water for irrigation. This project will replace the existing well with a new well that is similar in functionality to the original well. The current irrigation system will need to remain operational throughout the project. Final well equipping and connections to the existing delivery system are also included in this project scope.
