JEA is soliciting construction services to install watermain pipe at the approximate lengths described herein along Martin Luther King Pkwy (20th Street) and Myrtle Avenue: a. 4,529 linear feet (LF) of new CLDI (PC250) 20-inch water main (WM) along W. 21st Street between Fairfax Street (location of WTP) and Abbott Street and I-95 and Mars Avenue by open cut. b. 1,729 LF of new CLDI (PC250) 16-inch WM along N. Myrtle Avenue between W. 22nd Street and W. 15th Street by open cut. c. tie-ins to existing water mains along cross streets with 32 LF of new CLDI (PC350) 12-inch WM, 31 LF of new PVC (DR18) 8-inch water main, and 142 LF of new PVC (SDR21) 2-inch WM by open cut. d. tie-ins to existing water mains along cross streets and fire hydrant laterals with 1,469 LF of new PVC (DR18) 6-inch WM by open cut. e. 2,635 LF of new PVC (DR18) 4-inch WM for water services along W. 21st Street between Fairfax Street and Abbott Street by open cut. f. 875 LF of new HDPE (DR11) 24-inch WM under MLK Jr Parkway (US1) by Directional Drill. g. 205 LF of new 30-inch Steel Casing by Jack and Bore under MLK Jr Parkway (US1) at N. Myrtle Avenue and under Norfolk Southern Railroad at N. Myrtle Avenue. h. fittings, gate valves and other appurtenances for a complete and operable system as depicted on the Plans.
