Question Submission Deadline May 4, 2023, 5:00pm SCOPE OF SERVICES Location The City has designated a prominent location on Denning Drive where a 10' mixed use path exists. From Webster to Orange Avenue, this path is for multi-modal use including pedestrians, bicyclists, families, and travelers seeking an expedient path to civic, good and services amenities including MLK Park, Winter Park Village, Lynx, Valencia College, and the Hannibal Square area. The proposal may also consider the other side of the road. Project Description The City of Winter Park is issuing an Invitation for Bid to improve its access to public internet facilities in order mitigate digital divide. The proposed projects consist of general construction activities associated with installation of equipment and improvements along the east side of Denning Drive. The project will assist with the implementation of free public Wi-Fi services in the urban community area along Denning Drive and the adjacent mixed-use path to provide access to wireless services to low-income residents residing along Denning Drive, and to connect them with community assets. Budget The budget for general construction activities associated with installation of equipment and improvements along the east side of Denning Drive to provide public Wi-Fi access in the lowincome area within the City of Winter Park municipal limits is $125,000.00.
