Site work and paving for a road / highway in Coldbrook, Nova Scotia. Working plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Construction of a new Highway 101 interchange and connector roads. The new Exit 14A to be built between Exit 14 in Coldbrook and Exit 15 in Berwick. The interchange will be constructed with a traditional diamond ramp configuration, including roundabouts at each of the new intersections. Along the south connector road, a bridge will be built over the Cornwallis River and a tunnel will be constructed on the Harvest Moon Trailway to safely accommodate trail users. TIMELINE: Detailed design is being completed in-house. Environmental Assessment approvals were secured in spring 2023. Schedules for tender and construction may be confirmed late 2025/2026. *A contact at the owner has not been released for publication.
