**As of June 27, 2023, project was awarded to Interstate Grading & Paving, Inc., awarded amount is $3,099,037.10.** The work includes grinding existing asphalt concrete, paving with new asphalt concrete, performing full depth reclamation to restore street pavement, reconstruction of curb, gutter, sidewalk and curb ramps to meet current ADA standards, reinstallation of thermoplastic striping and markings, and adjustment of utility manhole frames and covers, and other utility boxes to finished grade and other work as shown on plans or as specified in the specifications. Each bidder must submit with the bidder's proposal either cash, a cashier's check or a certified check payable to the order of the City of Daly City for an amount not less than 10% of the aggregate sum of the bid, or a corporate surety bond of a responsible surety company for said amount, and so payable as to guarantee that the bidder will enter into the proposed contract if it is awarded to the bidder and as liquidated damages for any loss which may accrue from failure to enter into a contract as specified. The City of Daly City reserves the right to cash such check and hold the proceeds thereof. No bid will be considered unless it is accompanied by such check or bond. A valid class A license or other combination of any class C licenses that constitues a majority of the contract work must be in the possession of the successful bidder at the time the bid is submitted. SCOPE OF WORK The work shall include furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, tools, services and accoutrements required for the complete construction of the "2021-2022 and 2022-2023 Street Resurfacing" Project No. 2022-16-CS. The project includes but is not limited to the following: A. Temporary Traffic Control. B. Demolition of curb, gutter, sidewalk, driveway and curb ramp. C. Removal of existing striping and pavement markings. D. Excavation and off-haul. E. Construction of new concrete sidewalk, curb and gutter, curb ramp and driveway. F. Removal of asphalt concrete. G. Reconstruct asphalt concrete pavement. H. Installation of thermoplastic striping and pavement markings and markers. I. Asphalt Concrete (AC)/Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) grinding and paving J. Full Depth Reclamation.. K. Re-setting or relocation of existing sign and signpost. L. Reconstruct top of catch basin. M. Construct new catch basin. N. Re-setting survey monument and file record map with the County of San Mateo as specified in Part III of the Technical Specifications. O. And other work as shown on plans, as specified in the specification or as directed by the engineer. Work shall be performed at designated locations throughout the City.
