The project consists of milling and repaving designated streets with asphalt and chip and seal within the City's budgetary funds. Bids will be received on a per unit basis. Cates, PE, PLS at (573) 341-2100 ext. 1001. Proposals shall be submitted on the Bid Schedule provided for that purpose. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Price. Bidders on the work must comply with Missouri State prevailing wage rates including fringe benefits. Bidders are required to submit a summary of their qualifications. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish worker's compensation insurance per the minimum requirements of the State of Missouri as well as general liability and automobile insurance. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish performance/maintenance and payment bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Work Authorization and E-Verify documents confirming US citizenship of employees and a City business license will be required. Project payments will be made monthly during the project. The City intends to award a contract for the project based on the bid that, in the City's sole discretion, best meets the interests and requirements of the City. The City reserves the right in the City's sole discretion to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, irregularities or deficiencies in any or all bids.
