Saving Project...

Renovation of a municipal facility in Anaheim, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

This project will replace and automate the chillers and cooling towers in the Anaheim Convention Center (ACC) that are over 40 years old. The project will also add variable speed drives and automation to chiller plants to improve collection of performance data and flexibility in managing power used. Replacing the chillers and cooling towers with equipment that is adaptive to new technology and energy efficient will deliver savings on utility costs. The replacement of old ozone depleting refrigerant systems to new green technologies also supports our facility goals for LEED compliance. Project is included in the City of Anaheim's FY 2024-2028 CIP. As of July 1, 2024, information regarding a design team and a general contractor is not available. Funding is anticipated from 2024 to 2028.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
