These projects provide for traffic signal coordination on major roadway corridors to improve traffic flow and reduce traffic congestion. In addition, these projects will upgrade existing signal equipment such as controllers and install emergency vehicle preemption devices to reduce emergency response times. Some of these projects will upgrade existing signals to provide left-turn protected arrows to improve safety at intersections and include the installation of pedestrian countdown signal heads. The projects include: - Katella Avenue at Brookhurst Street to Convention Center Signal Coordination - Euclid Street at Glenoaks Avenue to Crescent Avenue Signal Coordination - Federal Highway Administration Communications Protocol - Left-turn Phasing at 14 major intersections Also, funding is provided for improvement to changeable signs in the Anaheim Resort, including upgrading existing signs and installation of new signs, which will be funded by restricted ATID funds. This project is included int he City of Anaheim's FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of May 17, 2023, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available.
