Renovation of a stadium in Birmingham, Alabama. Completed plans call for the renovation of a stadium.
A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount and a Statutory Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract amount will be required from the successful bidder at the signing of the contract The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted, and to waive any informalities. Questions should be received by the Architect at least five (5) days prior to the date set for receiving of bids. Question Deadline 05/11/2023 The work will generally consist of repairs and renovations at the Rickwood Field Stadium Renovations for the City of Birmingham located at 1137 2 nd Ave W, Birmingham AL 35204. All work as defined in the Project Documents. The following scope of work shall not be construed as dictating the Contractor's means and methods of work, nor to dictate project scheduling or phasing. It shall be the Contractor's responsibility to properly coordinate all trades and schedules of work as required to provide a complete, functioning system in compliance with all applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements. Repairs and renovations of the stadium structure including but not limited to repair/replacement of structural wood elements, wood sheathing, pedestrian sidewalk ramps and other elements as indicated on the project drawings
