The North Carolina Department of Administration (DOA), Facility Management Division (FMD) is responsible for providing a safe and healthful work environment for employees and the public in a cost-effective manner. This mission is accomplished by performing routine, preventative and emergency maintenance of state facilities. The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to obtain pricing for professional testing and inspection of the installed fire alarm systems, in the State Government Buildings listed in Attachment A: Pricing Form, as required by the NFPA 72 National Fire Alarm and Signaling Code. The intent of this solicitation is to award an Agency Contract. The Contract shall have an initial term of one (1) year, beginning July 1, 2023. Late Arrivals Will Not Be Allowed to Sign in or Participate in the Site Visit, Nor Shall Their Bid Be Considered. Once the Sign-in Process is Complete, All Other Persons Wishing to Attend May Do So to the Extent That Space and Circumstances Allow. Submit Written Questions Vendor April 25, 2023 @ 2:00PM ET Provide Response to Questions State April 26, 2023 Contract Award State June 30, 2023 Vendors are cautioned that this is a request for offers, not an offer or request to contract, and the State reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all offers at any time if such rejection is deemed to be in the best interest of the State
