The work to be performed under these specifications includes removal of the existing field fence adjacent to the access road, trees within the easement area of the access road, flow meter manhole, access manhole, outfall structure, all piping into and out of the existing outfall structure, portions of the berm along the west, east and south sides of the existing south lagoon and utilities as shown in the plans. Contractor shall provide labor, equipment and supervision required to perform the work in accordance with all applicable ANSI/OSHA rules and regulations. Minority-Owned Business Enterprise (MBE) Goal 1.7% Women-Owned Business Enterprise (WBE) Goal 2.2% The extent of the work involved is the furnishing of labor and new materials for the construction of Riceville Wastewater Treatment Facility (WWTF) Improvements - 2023. The Base Bid shall include all work except what is described as Alternate A - Influent Pipe Construction. Alternate A - Influent Pipe Construction shall consist of furnishing of labor and new materials for the construction of the new 8" diameter influent line from the new Vertical Screen Structure to the new Influent Manhole Structure and the connection to said structures.
