The SE Indian Street at SE Willoughby Boulevard intersection improvements are being done in collaboration with the SE Indian Street resurfacing from east of SR-76 (S Kanner Highway) to SR-5 (US-1 / SE Federal Highway), which includes the reconfiguration of the intersection to accommodate east and west bound dual left turn lanes on SE Indian Street in Stuart, Florida. The modifications to the roadway, sidewalks, curbs, and traffic separators necessary to achieve this reconfiguration will be done by others as part of the resurfacing project. This intersection improvement project will make the necessary traffic control changes to the intersection to safely control vehicular and pedestrian traffic and is comprised of the replacement of the existing mast arm traffic signal system with a new mast arm traffic signal system, intersection lighting, and other incidental work as shown and specified in the Contract Documents.
