The new building will be 1,600 GSF and include an elevator, open stairway, an office, and a single restroom. Adjacent site improvements include demolition of an existing retaining wall and construction of a new retaining wall, installation of underground utilities including water, electric, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer, bus pull-off area, exterior waiting area and site lighting. The building will be heated and air conditioned. It's envisioned this building will be constructed of mass timber and other low-carbon materials. Submissions should emphasize the design team's significant experience with zero carbon building designs and mass timber structures.
