Project involves pulverizing, shaping and asphalt paving within Hidden Court, Antioch Street, Morris Drive, Stonegate Road from Heather Drive to Stonegate Court, and in Cambridge Avenue from Canterbury Lane north to the Village limits. In addition, the project will include full-depth pavement patching in Woodmere Terrace, Crestview Drive, Amy James Drive, Dale Drive, Pin Oak Lane and Big Bend Road. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of the Village of Waukesha and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Waukesha reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Bids received from entities who are not Plan Holders of Record may be returned as being nonresponsive. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to the Village of Waukesha at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to the Village of Waukesha equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to the Village of Waukesha as liquidated damages.
