Bid tabulations will be posted for public viewing after the bids have been opened. The project consists of the repair and construction of the pre-stripped roof of the Horse Barn located at the southeast corner of the Hill County Fairgrounds in Havre, Montana. This project will involve repairs to the roof decking and application of the roof covering. All materials necessary for repair and completion of the roof project will be purchased by Hill County through the Great Northern Fair Commission. However, bids should include an itemized materials list along with a separate bid for the costs of labor. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond payable to Hill County, Montana, in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) of the total amount of the bid. The bid security will be retained by the Great Northern Fair Commission until the successful bidder enters into a contract with Hill County. If no contract is entered into by the successful bidder within sixty (60) days, the security may be forfeited to Hill County Successful bidders will be required to furnish an approved Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond Payment Bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the total contract amount. Insurance, as required, shall be provided by the successful bidder and a Certificate of that insurance shall be provided to Hill County Bidders may withdraw their bid either personally or by written request at any time prior to the time set for bid opening. No bid may be withdrawn or modified after the time set for opening, unless and until the award of the contract is delayed for a period exceeding ninety (90) days.
