Revera Devco Ltd. is proposing to construct a 128-bed long term care home (The Village Seniors' Community) in Hanover, Ontario. The site is located at 101 7th Avenue, Hanover, Ontario. The new LTC home will be constructed on a 5.53 acre greenfield site in a single phase. The Hanover long-term care project is two storeys combustible with partial basement, totaling 7,037 m2, accommodating 128-beds in 4 Resident Home Areas (RHAs) with amenity spaces. Façade is primarily clad in vinyl siding. Openings are comprised of vinyl windows and aluminum entrances. The new facility will conform to the 2015 MOHLTC Design Standards. LEED is not targeted. The proposed developments includes the following major building areas; Partial Basement - Main Kitchen; Laundry; Receiving; Storage; Staff Areas First Floor - Resident Home Area (RHA) 1 and Resident Home Area (RHA) 2 a includes a Secure Care Unit / Building Services / Administration / Resident Amenities / Landscaped Courtyard Second Floor - RHAs 3-4 Roof Level - Mechanical Systems Subtrade tenders are expected to be called May 2023.
