Western Washington University is seeking proposals for the following project: Fairhaven Recording Studio, PW781, a project involving interior renovation or remodel of space within an existing building for a recording studio suite located on the first-floor lobby of Fairhaven Academic Building, an existing concrete structure and sprinklered building. Demolition of existing office suite at the east end of the lobby is required to make way for the project. The program consists of the main recording studio, voice, control room, and lounge. Total area of the project is approximately 1,000 sf. The Architect/Engineer's estimate: $800,000. Western Washington University is committed to providing the maximum practicable opportunity for participation by minority and women-owned businesses (MWBE) in public works. Participation may be either on a direct basis in response to this invitation to bid, or as a subcontractor or supplier. However, no minimum level of MWBE participation shall be required as a condition for receiving an award, and bids will not be rejected or considered non-responsive if they do not include MWBE participation.
