The purpose of this Request for Proposal is to solicit proposals via competitive negotiation to establish one or more term contracts for water treatment plant engineering services which may be utilized in association with studies, evaluations, operation and maintenance projects, capital improvement projects, or other upgrades or improvements to any of the water treatment plants or associated facilities which are owned or operated by the Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority (RWSA). Provide various water treatment plant engineering services as needed by RWSA for the continued operation and maintenance of existing and future water treatment plants and related facilities. Projects may include studies, evaluations, maintenance projects, upgrade design projects, and repair projects. Studies and evaluations may include a wide range of activities related to compliance with existing or future regulations (both state and federal), capacity, operations, maintenance, etc. Related water treatment plant structures may include, but are not limited to, raw water pump stations, raw waterlines, unit treatment processes and related chemical feed facilities, metering vaults, finished water pump stations, water tanks and finished waterlines. Projects may include requirements related to state and/or federal funds, including but not limited to grants and/or loans in compliance with FEMA programs, Virgina Drinking Water State Revolving Fund (VDWSRF) programs, EPA programs and Virginia Clean Water Revolving Loan Fund (VCWRLF).
