Renovation of a water / sewer project in Cutler Bay, Florida. Completed plans call for the renovation of a wastewater treatment plant.
In general, the project consists of furnishing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the construction of a chlorine contact chamber; construction of wellheads for injection wells; construction of a 72-inch and a 108-inch pipeline; and other improvements at the South District Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 23300 SW 88th Avenue Miami, FL 33032. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of a new chlorine contact chamber (CCC 10); construction of wellheads for 3 new injection wells (wells drilled by others); construction of a 72-inch pipeline to serve as an interconnect between the north and south sides of the effluent loop including a concrete vault for a flowmeter and connections to wells; construction of a 108-inch PCCP line from the filter effluent flume to the Chlorine Contact Chambers (CCC) influent pipe near CCC 9; associated yard piping; and overall site civil grading and drainage improvements.
