Renovation of a playground / park / athletic field in Torrance, California. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 22,000-square-foot playground / park / athletic field.

As of June 2,2023, source will not post this project or rebid in the future. The City of Torrance is requesting proposals from qualified vendors for revitalization of landscaping in three planting beds at the City Yard Campus. The initial contract will be for a period of 6 (six) months running from May 15, 2023 through December 15, 2023. Submit questions in writing via email to Tracy Drake, Park Services Manager at TDrake@torranceca.gov by 12:00 P.M Noon, local Pacific Time on Monday, May 1, 2023. The City of Torrance is looking at upgrading the landscaping alongside of the City Yard campus located at 20500 Madrona Avenue, Torrance. There are three "islands" that need to be grubbed and cleared and then replanted with drought tolerant, low water use plants to be selected by the contractor and approved by City staff. Specific information is included this document. A job walk is not required however, it is highly recommended that the bidder walk the project area and ask questions using the protocols outlined in this document. The total project area is approximately 22,000 square feet.
