EACH BID SHALL BE ADDRESSED TO THE CITY CLERK AND SHALL BEAR ON THE FACE OF THE ENVELOPE THE NAME OF THE BIDDER, AND A STATEMENT THAT IT IS A SEALED BID, TO BE OPENED FOR THE CONTRACT CONSIDERED, AT THE DATE AND HOUR SET FORTH IN THE INVITATION TO BID. THE BIDDER SHALL ALSO STATE ON THE OUTSIDE OF THE ENVELOPE THAT HE/SHE IS IN RECEIPT OF ALL ADDENDUMS TO THE CONTRACT. The successful bidder will be required to post performance security and to provide a Certificate of Insurance as set forth in the Invitation of Bid and the General Terms & Conditions. Bidders are required to be pre-qualified through the Illinois Department of Transportation or Illinois Capital Development Board. It is the responsibility of the bidder to ensure that their pre-qualification information is provided to the City of Joliet Purchasing Division prior to the bid opening. The City of Joliet reserves the right to reject any and all bids, parts of any and all bids, or to waive technical errors or omissions in bids.
