Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mason City, Iowa. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Pavement Removal/Scarification, HMA Paving, Miscellaneous Landscaping, Erosion Control and Turf Restoration Est. Completion Date:Aug. 15, 2023 The Project includes all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for removing the existing overlay on Scrip Road (Birch Drive), excavating to proper grade and paving the new trail adjacent to the Winnebago River, as well as asphalt paving of a parking lot area and miscellaneous site work such as gates, bollards and other restoration work The established DBE goal for this project is 0% of the total amount bid. The bid security must not contain any conditions either in body or as an endorsement thereon. The bid security shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages in the event the successful bidder fails or refuses to enter into contract within ten (10) days after the award of contract and post bond satisfactory to the City insuring the faithful fulfillment of the contract and the maintenance of said work, if required, pursuant to the provisions of this notice and the other contract documents. The City will accept bid bond forms that meet the requirements of Iowa Code section 26.8. Bidders shall not be permitted to withdraw their bids for a period of forty-five (45) days after the same are opened
