Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Spokane, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 1,069-bed detention facility; and for site work for a clubhouse / community center.
Plans call for a New Spokane County Jail Project to include a new housing tower for up to 877 offenders as well as a community corrections center for up to 192 offenders. Project would also include a sallyport to assist in transporting inmates. Per the owner, as of June 1, 2023, this project is to go on the November 2023 ballot for approval from the voters. The owner states that an architect has not yet been selected.
