The minimum goal for participation by DBEs on this project is as follows: 6.38 Percent The proposed project is located in Maricopa County northbound on State Route (SR 51) at Camelback Road from Milepost 3.61 to Milepost 3.69. The work consists of pavement rehabilitation. The work also includes removal and replacement of asphalt concrete, Portland Cement Concrete Pavement (PCCP), concrete barrier, manhole and catch basin replacements, pavement marking, and other related work. The time allowed for the completion of the work included in this contract will be 70 calendar days. The Arizona Department of Transportation, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, Disadvantaged Business Enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. All labor employed on this project shall be paid in accordance with the minimum wage rates shown in the General Wage Decision. These rates have been determined in accordance with the requirements of the law and issued by the Secretary of Labor for this project.
