New perimeter fence and entry gates at the Marblehead Municipal Light Department located at 80 Commercial Street, Marblehead. Bidders do not need to be certified by DCAMM as this is a M.G.L. c.30 39M project. The work is estimated to cost $280,000.00. Performance Period: Add 21 calendar days The Project consists of but not limited to: Installation of a new perimeter fence and entry gates at the Marblehead Municipal Light Department. All bidding Requests for Information (RFIs) shall be submitted online by 07/19/2023 at 5:00PM EDT for general bids. Work of this contract consists of the installation of a new perimeter fence and entry gates at the Marblehead Municipal Light Department located at 80 Commercial Street, Marblehead, Massachusetts. The scope of work includes: 1. New perimeter fence as designated on site plans. 2. Manual pedestrian and vehicle gates in designated locations along fence. 3. (2) new electronic gates and associated equipment at property entrances. 4. (2) new manual gates to separate employee parking from visitor parking. 5. New electrical as required to power gate operators and sensors. 6. New chain link fence to be installed on existing sea wall railing. 7. Deduct Alternate #1: Remove new chain link fence to be installed on existing seawall railing from scope of work. 8. Add Alternate #2: Remove and replace existing seawall railing.
