The Department of the Interior-National Park Service (NPS), Interior Region 2, South Atlantic Gulf intends to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP) to award a firm fixed price construction contract. It is the intent of this contract to provide professional, proficient and effective service in the replacement of the fresh air machine at the Headquarters Building within Big Cypress National Preserve (BICY) in Ochopee, FL. The work includes providing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, transportation and supervision in accordance with the Statement of Work and Drawings that will conform part of the solicitation. This requirement is being prepared in accordance with FAR Part 36, Construction Contracts, and will be solicited as 100% Small Business Set-Aside. NAICS Code: 238220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, Standard Business Size is $19M. . This solicitation (and any amendments) will be issued electronically only; no hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed or issued. To receive the solicitation package you must download it from one of the above sites. Therefore is the contractor's responsibility to check the internet site daily for any posted changes to the solicitation. Contractors must be registered in the SAMSystem for Award Management in order to receive contract awards. A date and time for the site visit will be specified in the solicitation.
