The purpose of this Invitation to Bid to acquire the services of a landscaping company to provide monthly grounds maintenance on an annual basis. The areas to be maintained are within the right-of-way along the Treasure Island Causeway from Sunset Drive in the City of St. Petersburg to Gulf Boulevard in the City of Treasure Island. From Sunset Drive to the causeway bridge, the reclaimed water is provided by the City of St. Petersburg, while the reclaimed for other maintained areas is provided by Pinellas County. There is a high-level standard of service for this project due to the prominence of the thoroughfare and the project area crossing the municipal boundary of the cities of Treasure Island and St. Petersburg. These areas are delineated in Attachment 1. The eastern portion of the Treasure Island Causeway from the east bridge to the draw bridge is currently being relandscaped by another contracted vendor. The landscaping plans for this area are attached hereto as Attachment 2. The resulting service Contract will be for a period covering the balance of FY23 (ending 9/30/2023), FY24, and FY25, with two optional one-year renewals subsequently.
