State and Federal landfill regulations require the installation of a geocomposite liner and leachate collection system as the landfill develops. Operating efficiencies have allowed for postponing the installation of the new liner. However, the liner must now be installed to maintain operations in line with ongoing regulations This project is included in the City of Burbank's FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of April 26, 2023, information regarding a design team or a general contractor is not available. Construction is anticipated in 2023/2024. Project is in design. *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP).
