Site work for a water / sewer project in Burbank, California. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Flow metering and sewer capacity analyses were performed in the collection system and capacity deficiencies were discovered. The project will construct approximately 2,100 feet of 12-inch to 18-inch diameter sewer lines. Work includes adding a relief sewer along South Lake Street from West Tujunga Avenue to West Verdugo Avenue, and upsizing sewer lines in North Lake Street from West Tujunga Avenue to West Olive Avenue, and along West Olive Avenue from North Lake Street to 356 Lineal Feet (LF) east of North Lake Street. This project will convey sewage to the BWRP for treatment. This project is included in the City of Burbank's FY 2022-2027 Capital Improvement Plan (CIP). As of May 18, 2023, design is anticipated to begin in FY 2023/2024 and is anticipated to be completed in FY 2024/2025. Bidding and construction is anticipated in FY 2025/2026.* *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change.
