Completion Date The Contractor shall start construction by July 17, 2023. All work shall be completed by December 15, 2023, excluding Tree Planting and Warranty Inspection Work. All work shall be continuous and the number of allowable working days shall be 100. Liquidated Damages, per diem: $1,000 The City reserves the right, at the direction of the Commissioner of Public Works, to increase or decrease the quantity of the work as outlined in this specification throughout the duration of construction Only Contractors that have been prequalified through MMSD's Private Property Infiltration and Inflow Reduction Municipal Contractors' procurement process are allowed to bid on this work. he SBE requirement for this project is 5% of the contract base bid. Bid Security Required: Bond, Certified Check, Cashier's Check or Cash to accompany bid: 10% of the Contractor's Base Bid. For those bids being submitted through Bid Express and using a manual Bond, the contractor may send a signed/executed copy of the bid bond
