Type of Award:Lump Sum Interviews June 7, 2023 (tentative) City Council Approval of Contract August 2023 (tentative) The City of Sacramento (City) is accepting proposals for Professional Services for the Two Rivers Trail Project Phase III (T15225400) (Project) from qualified engineering consultant firms or teams (Consultant). The objective of the Project is to complete a trail connection between the western terminus of the Two Rivers Trail Phase II project and the Sacramento Northern Trail and evaluating alternative connections into the River District near North 12th Street. This work will include completing alternatives development, environmental documentation, project report approvals, identifying construction funding through grants or other opportunities, permit and plans, specifications, and estimates for the trail through the easterly Union Pacific Railroad ROW, and constructing a new trail between 28th Street and the Sacramento Northern Trail. In addition, a pedestrian scale boat ramp, including access ramp on the levee will be evaluated at Sutters Landing Beach. The Project, being delivered by Public Works, in conjunction with Youth, Parks, and Community Engagement (YPCE), is currently funded by the California Natural Resources Agency. It is assumed that federal or state funds may be programmed for construction but those have not been identified. The project is located on the south bank of the American River between State Route 160 and State Route 51. 5% LBE participation requirements.
