As of July 20, 2023, this project has been awarded. This project consists of the stabilization and rehabilitation of the hillside and riverfront along the project area known as Irishtown Bend. The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to, site preparation/staging/demolition, utility coordination and relocation, hillside excavation and soil disposal including soil remediation, bulkhead wall installation and backfill, repair of a large interceptor sewer, site grading, storm water management and storm sewers, green bulkhead additions, Franklin Avenue realignment and reconstruction, maintenance of traffic, and site restoration.
