Site work for a water / sewer project in Trenton, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The Trenton Water Works (TWW) is seeking bids for bulk delivery of quicklime. The chemical will be used by the Trenton Water Filtration Plant (WFP) to treat Delaware River water to produce potable water for the City of Trenton, New Jersey. More specifically, it will be used for alkalinity and pH adjustment. The estimated average annual quantities are 700 tons of quicklime as CaO. The quantities stated herein are estimates based on projected flow and dosage at the Trenton WFP. The successful bidder agrees to furnish more or less than the estimates in accordance with the actual needs as they occur through the contract period at the negotiated unit price. TWW reserves the right to test each shipment on its own and reject the shipment if the quicklime does not meet this specification. Bidder shall submit with the bid a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent (10%)
