Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Wantagh, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; and sidewalk / parking lot.
Improvements to approximately 3500 LF of residential roadway in the Paddock Road area in the Hamlets of Seaford and Wantagh. Improvements to include: New Concrete curbing with gutter, concrete driveway aprons, concrete handicap ramps and concrete sidewalk at limited locations. Restoration of utility strip area. Replacement of existing pavement markings. Reconstruction of existing asphalt roadway pavement. Reconstruction of existing roadway base material via 1 of 2 bid options (RCA vs. Mixed-in-place). The Town of Hempstead reserves the right to reject any or all bids Federal equal opportunity and labor standards are applicable for all work performed under this Contract. Minority owned, women owned and disabled veteran owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Town of Hempstead for not less than 5% of the estimated amount of the bid
