As of September 6, 2023, project was awarded to Macedo Contracting Services, Inc. but awarded amount is not available. Storm Water Drainage Improvements to include: upgrade to 1700 LF of existing storm water drainage pipe. new storm water drainage structures. restoration of pipe trench areas. The engineer's estimate is $1,000,000. NYSDOL certified apprenticeship training program required. Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Set Aside: No Each proposal must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Town of Hempstead for not less than five percent (5%) of the estimated amount of the bid. Bid documents may be obtained in person only at the Office of the Commissioner of General Services, Town Hall, 350 Front Street, Room 211, Hempstead, New York and may be seen at the same office. The Town of Hempstead reserves the right to reject any or all bids. Federal equal opportunity and labor standards are applicable for all work performed under this Contract. Minority owned, women owned and disabled veteran owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.
