Demolition and site work for a residential development in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.
The City of New Smyrna Beach is seeking interested Contractors to submit proposals for the 15 Home Demolition Rebuild Project, which entails the demolition and rebuild of 15 existing flood-prone single-family residences at higher elevations. The project will provide protection against a 100-year storm event (at a minimum). A Federal Match will be provided by FEMA with funding from the Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) under Hurricane Irma (HMGP Contract No. 4337-373-R) while the remaining Local Match will be the financial responsibility of the City of New Smyrna Beach and the corresponding homeowners. It is recommended that the bidders perform a pre-bid site visit to become familiar with the fifteen (15) project sites including their geographic location and accessibility.
