Site work and paving for a road / highway in Wallingford, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Wallingford intends to engage the services of a qualified and competent heavy highway contractor to perform roadway paving at various locations in the Town of Wallingford. The qualified and competent contractor will possess the necessary equipment and manpower to effectively and efficiently perform all required assignments under this contract. The contractor will need to demonstrate a successful history of completion on similar projects and assignments. Traffic control will be provided by the Town of Wallingford. Clarification deadline: 5/10/2023 5:00 PM Performance Bond: 100% See General Terms & Conditions Amount of bid surety: 5% See General Terms & Conditions Insurance Requirements: Liability See General Terms & Conditions The Purchasing Agent reserves the right to amend and/or cancel the bid invitation prior to the time and date of the bid opening. The Purchasing Agent reserves the right to correct an award erroneously made as a result of a clerical error on the part of the Town of Wallingford. A contract shall not be awarded to any corporation, firm or individual who has an unpaid and overdue debt to the Town by nonpayment of taxes, by debt or contract, or who is in default as surety or otherwise by any obligation to the Town.
