As of December 19, 2023, the project has not been awarded. A timeline for award has not been confirmed. Valley Water is seeking a qualified Contractor to supply, deliver and install one (1) metal post and beam "roman-style" shade system at the existing rear patio of the Administration Building. The hardscape for the rear patio consists of a combination of landscape planters and concrete slab-on-grade. The structure is to be designed to ensure maximum shade coverage by manually extending or retracting shade fabric sections that are suspended on cable rails. The layout of the shade structures is intended to have a footprint dimension of 120'-long x 30'-wide x 8'-tall. Final footprint can vary at a tolerance of up to 24 inches if any obstacles, interferences, or efficiencies are identified by the Contractor. Workers employed on this Project must be paid at rates at least equal to the prevailing wage rates as determined by the State of California Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Section 1770 et seq. of the Labor Code. Said wage rates are incorporated herein by reference and may be inspected upon request. Valley Water may exercise at its sole discretion the following rights.
