The City of Miami Beach (City) is seeking letters of interest from developers that may have an interest in developing a mixed-use project incorporating parking components and other uses, which may include but is not limited to, affordable and workforce housing, Class A office space, and public facilities/amenities on one or more of the City-owned surface parking lots near 41 Street (P58, P59, P60, P62, and P63 only). 1. Surface Parking Lot P58 4049 Royal Palm Avenue 2. Surface Parking Lot P59 525 West 40 Street 3. Surface Parking Lot P60 4000 Chase Avenue 4. Surface Parking Lot P62 836 West 42 Street 5. Surface Parking Lot P63 4166 Royal Palm Avenue Pursuant to this RFLI, the City does not seek and will not consider specific development proposals or offers to develop the subject properties. Interested parties are expressly instructed NOT to submit development proposals or offers at this time, but rather, nonbinding letters of general interest in participating in a potential future competitive solicitation for the referenced properties. Additionally, the sale of any property is not under the scope of this RFLI. Development proposals or offer to purchase submitted pursuant to this RFLI will be discarded and not considered. If the receipt of expressions of interest by the City demonstrates credible interest for potential mixed-use development on the subject properties, the City Commission may consider authorizing issuance of a Request for Proposals (RFP) seeking formal, detailed proposals from interested parties. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
