New Parking Lots & Entrance Modifications A Payment bond in an amount equal to 50 percent of the total contract price with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts will be required. A performance Bond is NOT required. 1. Contact Dig-Safe Center, City of North Adams sewer/water, McCann School operational personnel etc. and have all underground utilities marked on the ground. 2. Verify work areas shown on the drawings. 3. Install Erosion & sediment control barriers per drawings. 4. Remove trees, stumps, brush/branches as identified on the drawings. 5. Sawcut bituminous along walks and granite curbing to be replaced/reset. 6. Remove concrete, bituminous, topsoil, subsoil, etc. noted as part of the project and legally dispose of or stockpile. 7. Remove and stockpile granite curbing, bollards, gate and any items to be reset as part of the project Each bidder will be required to have thoroughly examined the site and conditions. Site inspections are MANDATORY and will take place on Wednesday May 17, 2023 at 10:00 AM and meet at the main school entrance.
