Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in North Adams, Massachusetts. Design plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.
As of January 23, 2024, per owner an architect has been selected and construction is set to begin August 2024. To provide design services for a future third phase of work at the senior center that involves the kitchen, basement, exterior building painting, cleaning, new deck, and a host of landscaping elements. Architectural design work for future Phase 3 Senior Center. Improvements for next grant submission for construction funds from $350,000 - $400,000, and if funded, to provide construction oversight. Estimated Construction Cost $400,000 Designer Fee: Negotiated not to exceed $55,000 Time Period for Completed Project On or about 12/31/24 Project award and contract execution is contingent upon funding from city's FY22-23 CDBG grant through the State Department of Housing & Community Development that is slated for 7/1/23. RFPs submitted electronically upon request. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
