The Project is a public works project subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations No contractor or subcontractor shall be qualified to submit a bid or to be listed in a bid proposal subject to the requirements of Public Contract Code section4104 or be qualified to enter into or engage in the performance of any contract unless currently registered and qualified under Labor Code section 1725.5. The pre-bid conference is NOT mandatory. Oral statements shall not be relied upon and will notbe binding or legally effective. of the bid will not be accepted. Bids will be accepted via mail through the U.S. Postal Service or

with a "Signature Required Upon Receipt". District takes no responsibility for the timeliness of
mailed submittals. Bids will be opened immediately following the receipt of bids. at the various sites listed
