Renovation and addition to a conference / convention center in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the addition of a 3,115-square-foot, one-story above grade conference / convention center; and for the renovation of a 7,719-square-foot, one-story above grade conference / convention center.

Project scope includes demolition to a selective portion of the existing facility, renovation, and new construction. New structural framing that will tie into the existing structure. New roofing at area of work. New plumbing, electrical and mechanical work that ties back into the existing building utility systems. New finishes throughout the area of work. A new fire protection and sprinkler system throughout the entire facility. Renovation site work at the existing plaza as an Alternate. The existing kitchen located at the other end of the existing facility is to receive a new door opening and minor finish updates. The conference area of the new facility will include (2) folding wall partitions, a new toilet room layout near existing plumbing locations, (3) meeting rooms and an entry lobby space along with smaller support and storage rooms. All bids must be completed and submitted on the Bid Form provided. The bid must include all options in this Invitation to Bid, unless the Bid Form provides otherwise. Bidders shall submit their bids on or before the time set for the opening of bids. Bids received after the time so set are late bids and will not be considered. The City will not accept electronic bids, late bids, unmarked envelopes, and/or incorrectly marked envelopes and will not open such bids.
