Demolition, site work, new construction, renovation and addition to a fire / police facility in Shelter Island, New York. Completed plans call for the addition of a two-story above grade fire / police facility; for the construction of a fire / police facility; and for site work for a fire / police facility.
The work will consist generally of removal of the east wall and ground floor addition with reconstruction of new twostory addition to include ground floor bath, radio room, stairway and second floor bathroom. The Shelter Island Fire District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept the bid best suited for its specific needs. Bids shall be in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Bid Security of Five Percent (5%) of the bid shall accompany each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory performance and payment bond or bonds. This is a prevailing wage job in accordance with New York State law.
