**As of May 26, 2023, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The project consists of asphalt crack sealing/repair, asphalt seal coat surface treatment, and paint marking on Taxiway A and associated taxiway connectors at the Lone Pine/Death Valley Airport, in Lone Pine, CA. Each bid must be accompanied by a bidder's bond from an admitted corporate surety on the form provided in the bid package, in an amount not less than 10% of the amount of the bid, and made payable to the County of Inyo. If the notice inviting bids and bid proposal forms require or permit each bid to include additive item prices, the amount of the bid bond or check must be not less than 10% of the amount of the bid plus all of the additive bid items. The bidder's bond shall be given as security that the bidder will enter into the contract with the County and furnish the required labor and materials payment bond, faithful performance bond, certificates of insurance, or other required documents, if the bid is accepted. The check or bond will be forfeited to the County if the bidder fails to timely enter into said contract or furnish the required bonds, certificates of insurance, or other required documents. The bidder's bond may be retained by the County for sixty (60) days or until the contract is fully executed by the successful bidder and the County, whichever occurs first. Inyo County reserves the right at any stage of these proceedings to reject any or all bids or to waive any immaterial defect in any bid if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the County. Each bidder must supply all the information required by the contract documents, special provisions and the standard specifications. Online bidding will begin on May 9, 2023.
