Addition to a water / sewer project in Seattle, Washington. Conceptual plans call for the addition of a water / sewer project.
Deadline for Questions MAY 8, 2023 @ 2:00 PM (PST) PLEASE SUBMIT ALL QUESTIONS AND PROPOSALS VIA THE PROCUREMENT PORTAL. The overall Engineering Consultant scope of services will be to assist the Port in: developing preliminary and final design including plans, specifications, cost estimating, scheduling, obtaining permits, bid support and construction support. The selected Consultant will be expected to include structural, civil, survey, electrical, and geotechnical capabilities in their team's qualifications (sub consultant or organizational). Preliminary Design Stage During the preliminary design stage the Consultant will assist the Port in: o Refining the project scope, schedule, and budget o Basis of Design Report outlining the design parameters and features included in the project Design Stage The Consultant's scope of services during the design stage will generally include: o Completing field investigations as necessary o Project coordination, refining the project schedule and cost estimates o Preparing draft and final bid documents, including construction drawings and CSI MasterFormat specifications (BSD SpecLink-E) o Assisting the Port in completing the City of Tacoma permit submittal packages Q&A ISSUE DATE MAY 1, 2023
