CRMWD - Water Pipeline Cathodic Protection Phase Two Question Deadline 1/15/2024 This Project includes the following Work: A. Restoration of existing mortar coated steel cylinder water pipeline electrical continuity. The work includes the excavation and installation of joint bond cables at identified high resistance pipeline segments. The project includes the Big Spring, Diversion, Lake J.B. Thomas, Ivie section III, and the Red Draw pipelines. The project also includes the Spence Pipeline listed as an Alternate Bid Item following the same scope of work. Refer to the Cathodic Protection Details Sheet JB-1 to JB-2 and specifications 13 47 14. Continuity testing for one interval of piping for Ivie section III between 880+84 and 892+34. Refer to the Notes Sheet, Note 24 and sheet 13 JB-3. B. Installation of: o A new impressed cathodic protection (CP) system for the Red Draw water pipeline. The Red Draw pipeline is approximately 1.52 miles in length and runs from the Red Draw Dam facility to the Beals Creek Pump Station. o Two (2) bonding test stations for the Big Spring Pipeline. o Forty-two (42) foreign pipeline test stations for the Ivie section III pipeline. Refer to the Cathodic Protection Details sheets CP-1 to CP-9 and specifications 13 47 13. The Owner's Budget for the Project is $3,700,000.
